Objective: To commemorate the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda and celebrate his life and teachings.

Introduction: Vivekananda Jayanti is celebrated on January 12th each year to honor the great Indian philosopher, spiritual leader, and social reformer, Swami Vivekananda. The day is not only a celebration of his birth but also a reflection on his profound contributions to Indian society and his inspirational message for the world.

To commemorate the Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda , The Directorate of sports and youth affairs had a week long function under the National Youth week –“Youth Active Talk”  at GVM’S GGPR Collage of Commerce and Economics. The colleges and Higher Secondary of Ponda Taluka were invited for the function.

There was a panel Discussion on various topics regarding awareness and growth of the youth by Emminent Panelists such as IAS Officer Yashaswini B, NCC Col. Rathore , Director of DSYA Shri Rohit Kadam, ,Entrepreneur Varad Samanth,CA Rohan Bandare and Valentine     Athaide from the hospitality industry

The chief guest for the function was Shri Govind Gaude, Minster for Sports, Art and Culture and Rural Development Agency.
